According to Audi the 2023 Q7 is supposed to have Matrix Design headlights standard on all 55 tfsi models and standard on the 45 tfsi premium plus. but all dealership inventory on autotrader still has the basic led lights with single LED DRL and not the nice matrix headlights. Dec 28, 2014 · Matrix units have 5 individual "motorized" high-beam lamps, whereas the U.S. units have only a fixed 2 lamp hi-beam housing. I suspect that there is a different controller that ties the Matrix lights and their movement into the navigation and hi-beam assist systems and that likely requires a different wiring harness.

My brand new Audi Q7 50 TDI black edition was delivered two days ago 25th March and it has led headlights not Matrix headlights! when I ordered the car in September last year, audi stated the car came with matrix headlights!

Audi would have to test and certify the lights in order to officially active the feature.
